Who Comes Out to Your Home
Both tickets, one crew
The plumbers who come out hold the trade qualification and the gasfitting one as well, so a gas cylinder stays in the same hands as an electric tank from quote to flue check.
No handover
A gas job never leaves for another outfit partway through. The crew that prices it finishes it, from the pilot assembly through to the flue check at the end.
How Jobs Run
The figure comes first
Fitzgibbon Hot Water Services prices every job in full before work begins, and the figure doesn't grow once the tools are out.
Pay at the finish
Card or EFTPOS settles the bill once the job is done, with the water running and every valve checked.
What We Work On
Fitzgibbon Hot Water Services covers every stage of a system's life and every common type:
- Hot water repairs for elements, thermostats, valves and pilot faults
- No hot water when a system dies without warning
- Hot water replacement when a tank is beyond saving
- Hot water installation for new builds, renovations and relocations
- Gas hot water for gas cylinders and tankless units
- Electric hot water including off-peak supplies
- Instant hot water heating water the moment it flows
- Heat pump hot water pulling warmth from the outside air
- Solar hot water with roof collectors and a booster for overcast days
Where the Run Reaches
These five neighbours sit on the same regular run, and they all get the same service:
The Suburb We Work In
A young suburb, first tanks ageing
The estates spread across this triangle after the council's 2009 declaration, and census figures count 2533 dwellings here, so the first-generation units are only just reaching the age where failures start.
Flat ground by the creek
Much of the housing sits on low land beside Cabbage Tree Creek, inside Brisbane City Council's flood planning areas, so a replacement tank on some blocks goes up on a raised base.
Frequently Asked Questions
Call (07) 3523 7167Who does the hot water work in Fitzgibbon?
Our own licensed plumbers do, and because the team holds a gasfitting licence too, a gas unit stays with the team from the quote through to the flue test at the end.
Which systems do you cover?
Electric and gas cylinders, instant gas and electric units, heat pumps and solar systems all get repaired, replaced or fitted here, including the builder-fitted units ageing across these estates.
Does the run reach beyond Fitzgibbon?
Bracken Ridge, Deagon, Taigum, Zillmere and Carseldine all sit on the regular run, so a household in any of them gets the same written figure and the same crew on the job.
Does Brisbane City Council need to approve hot water work?
Nothing for you to lodge: a tank swap or a new unit is plumbing work for a licensed trade in Queensland, so any approvals and certificates stay with the plumber, not you.
What happens to the old tank after a swap?
We take the dead cylinder away instead of leaving it leaning against your fence, and the whole Fitzgibbon job is signed off only after hot water runs at every tap.
